Is ‘Isa’ a wrong name of Jesus?

The Christian believers call Prophet Isa as Jesus, but there was no one named ‘Jesus’ in the history of mankind on earth. The name ‘Jesus’ has come from Greek root word Iesous (Ἰησοῦς). However, the mother language of Prophet Isa was Aramaic, and he also spoke Hebrew. He never used Greek in his life time, and neither was he called by people of his era or country as ‘Jesus’. This ‘Jesus’ name was originally adopted by the Greek speaking Christian believers at past, which was later adopted by present Christian churches, and was never his name at all.

In real, who came among the Children of Israîl with the Revelation of Almighty Creator was Ŷéshúa (יֵשׁוּעַ) in Hebrew; and Isa (ﻋﯾﺴﯽ) is nothing rather than the short form of Ŷéshúa in Aramaic, as well as in Ancient Arabic. In Quran, the short form of the name Ŷéshúa is used, which is Isa.

Here is a sequence how the name Isa has got shortened form of the name Ŷéshúa:

Ŷéshúa >  Ŷ [é] sh [ú] a > ŶshaŶs {h} aŶsa > Isa

[Note: Here ‘e’ and ‘u’ vowel is omitted, and ‘h’ is slightly spelled; therefore, these 3 letters are negligible while written and spelled. This is a very similar case like the Aramaic/Hebrew name of GOD ‘YHWH’, which has come from ‘Yahweh’ or ‘Yahwah’.]

So, undoubtedly both Ŷéshúa and Isa are the correct names for the son of Maryam, our Prophet.
